I haven't written for awhile so I figured that while I have a little time I could jot down some thoughts for the day.
I've been busy lately, but of course who isn't busy these days. Seems like we're always doing something whether we want to or not. I had my birthday earlier this week. It went well, I had a psychology test the same day so that put pressure to study hard and "party" later. I'm pretty positive I got an A or atleast a B. For my birthday I went to Chuck E. Cheese to celebrate with some friends. LOL. I haven't been to that place in years!!! I ended up seeing my old pastor and his oldest boy, he was helping a classmate celebrate his birthday. It was good to see him and catch up a little bit. It was just as hectic as I remembered...maybe worse, this mom was holding the cup of coins or tokens (whatever they are called now) and she spilled them ALL over the floor and the kids just started yelling at her and didn't even bother to help her pick them up. It's crazy how some parents let their kids walk all over them and are so disrespectful sometimes. If I did that, I'd have to pick them up. My mom always worries that she didn't do a good job raising her children, well as one of her 4 babies I can say that she did an excellent job and I wouldn't have it any other way. : )
A thought just came to mind. It's silly really. I was thinking of my mom, and my family, and tattoos! haha, why that goes together you must wonder, well over spring break I will be going to get my first and probably ONLY tattoo. I plan on getting the Chinese symbol for family on the inside of my heel/foot in plain black. This tattoo is in memory of my Grandpa who passed away in November of last year and for future rememberance of all those who may go on before me. I'm no expert on tattoos, but my feelings are that if it's in memory or has a significant meaning then fine. I enjoy watching Miami Ink and LA Ink on the tele and seeing all these people get these CRAZY tattoos, it wouldn't be for me, but my small symbol will suffice. I'm very excited and mom and dad approve of my little "rebellion" lol if you want to call it that : P. silly college kids (mom, I bet you just thought that...).
I am very excited for spring break. I need a break from school. I've been studying by butt off and I have two test tomorrow and a speech to give on Tuesday of next week. So it's not too much, but it's enough to keep me a little above sane. These are the days when sleep is your best friend...well actually these are the days when sleep becomes your best friend because for the next 50 years sleep deprivation probably kicks in a bit. Maybe...I'm no expert but I'm getting older...kinda...lol whatever! : )
Well I should go eat some food to nourish my brain again and then begin to study again. To all of you out there reading this...have an excellent day and get some good quality sleep, because it's goooooooooooooooooooooooooood stuff! ; D
